  • Yes. All of the SmarTrack systems we supply and fit are fully Thatcham approved and recognised by all major UK insurers. You’ll also receive a certificate once the installation is complete to give to your insurance company.

  • On average between 2 and 4 hours depending on the system. We’ll give you an estimated time when booking and let you know as soon as your car is ready.

  • Yes.
    All SmarTrack devices require an ongoing subscription for the 24/7 monitoring service. Prices start from £13.49 per month, payable directly to SmarTrack / Global Telemetrics.

  • Yes – if you change vehicle, the tracker can usually be removed and re-installed into your new car. Just book in with us and we’ll handle the refit.

  • If the subscription lapses, the tracker will stop reporting to the monitoring centre. It’s important to keep this active so you remain fully covered for insurance and security purposes.

  • Yes. SmarTrack devices use GPS/GSM technology and will work in most European countries.

  • The Global Telemetrics control centre operates 24/7. If your vehicle is stolen, they’ll liaise directly with the police using the live tracker signal to help recover your vehicle as quickly as possible.

  • Yes. All SmarTrack systems include access to a smartphone app where you can view your car’s live location, check journey history and get instant alerts.
